Diane Von Furstenberg used an Ara Gallant photo of herself circa 1983 to set the tone for her 2010/2011 Resort show. The feeling of the collection was a modern woman’s boudoir Fake Oakley Sunglasses, with models standing in front of a mirrored bedroom-like setup before they took to the runway in clothes that were graphic, simple and sporty. You can envision a modern sexy woman mixing the swimsuits with high-waisted shorts and men’s silk shirts.
